More than 30 million visitors flood DisneyLand and DisneySea every year, being one of the most popular destinations for tourists coming to Tokyo. However, this year has been a different story as Oriental Land Co, the one in charge of operations and management of Tokyo Disney Resort, implemented the closure of both parks in line with the government’s declaration of a state of emergency over the coronavirus pandemic. The company previously announced the closure date to be until March 16 only but later on extended the closure indefinitely.
To continue the Disney spirit amid the crisis, Oriental Land Co, started offering the “in park” goods to anyone who can access the Tokyo Disney Resort app. Originally, these goods can only be bought if you access the app while you are inside Tokyo DisneySea or DisneyLand.

How can I buy?
You can buy only through the official Tokyo Disney Resort App. Download, register and log-in. It’s quite easy!

Can I buy online anytime?
No, they only accept orders 5 days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, at 9 am to 7 pm.
Is there a shipping fee?
The basic fee is ¥1,000 per order. If you need “cool” or low temperature delivery, like if you’re ordering chocolates, the fee is ¥1400. No shipping fee if you purchase more than ¥10,000!
How many items can I buy?
3 items per person, per day
What else do I need to know?
The items are limited everyday, so if many people will buy the goods, they will close the shop even before 7 pm. Actually on the first day that they opened, it only lasted until 10 am! It means they could only open for 1 hour. So if you have something to buy, it’s better to purchase at an early time.
Pro tip! You can check the items and add them to your cart anytime! When the shop opens, be the earliest one to purchase!
